Mortgages - Lender launches new two year fixed-rate mortgage - 17/11/2009

A Building Society has launched a new 2 year Fixed Rate Mortgage at 5.64%, offering the most competitive deal in the marketplace to home buyers or people remortgaging who need to borrow 85% of the value of their home.

Paul Winter, chief executive of the group, says: “We are pleased to be able to lend home buyers an attractive 85% of the value of their home, for an excellent 5.64% fixed rate over two years.

“[We] continued to lend during difficult times and our mortgage applications have soared because people enjoy our friendly and personal service.”

The Building Society takes pride in offering simple, transparent mortgage products and this latest deal is no exception.

It is a 2 year Fixed Rate Mortgage at 5.64%, with a Loan to Value (LTV) of 85% for purchase or remortgage.

The application fee is £150 and the completion fee is £999, which can be added to the loan.
