The statistics show that the NHS is finally getting its house in order as dangerous infections such as MRSA are on the wane, which will potentially see a wave of consumers back into the arms of public healthcare.

Government statistics now suggest these infection rates are dropping yet there remains a constant flow of stories depicting the plight of those still unfortunate enough to contract an infection.
