The Retail Motor Industry Federation (RMIF) has stated that there are still great deals to be had and has urged all car insurance drivers to scour the market and buy now, despite car sales being down by 30.5% last March.
The drop in car sales has predicted to take a turn for the best as RMIF director Sue Robinson noted that the market could improve further if the scrapping programme is set into place.
“Consumers will look to new cars again, given the right impetus, and the RMIF is continuing to lobby for the scrappage scheme which could help revive car sales and remove high-polluting cars from the road,” she said.
