Budget sends out lucky pants - 10/09/2007

Van insurance company Budget has lent some special support to the English rugby team - by sending out supplies of lucky underpants to their training camp in France.
The insurance provider hopes to see stars such as Jonny Wilkinson and Laurence Dallaglio wear the "stylish trunks", which are decorated with a special "good luck England" motif.
A special showing of the underwear was also arranged last week by some of the company's insurance advisers, who stripped off at Leicester rugby club.
Marketing manager at Budget Van Insurance, Lisa Corston, commented: "Most of us have a lucky mascot, and for many, it’s a pair of lucky pants. At Budget Van Insurance we want to give the boys all the support we can on the pitch - both physically and mentally.
"What better way than a pair of patriotic pants to boost the squad’s confidence as they battle it out with the opposition to get their hands on the Webb Ellis Trophy?"
Budget Van Insurance also announced that they will be donating a total of £500 to the Matt Hampson trust.
England under-21 prop forward Matt suffered a serious training injury in 2005, and was left paralysed.
