Life insurance provider Norwich Union have helpfully provided top tips to assist their customers to remain healthy and live as long as possible.
The company have detailed 15 steps to longer living, increasing life expectancy to 77 years of age.
Tips range from not smoking to laughing and flossing regularly all with a view of adding more to your lifespan.
Darren Dicks, head of annuities at Norwich Union, said: "While we aren't really suggesting that someone adopting all of these practices will automatically add more than 70 years to their life, our research shows that broadly speaking these activities will have an effect on life expectancy."
