Life Insurance - How to get life insurance - 20/05/2008
It's easy to buy life insurance – there are hundreds of firms out there eager to sell customers a policy. From banks and building societies to insurance brokers to mortgage brokers, financial advisors and local supermarkets.

It is important to have a clear idea of your objective before looking or werse still, buying the wrong policy. This is a frequent mistake when comparing cheap life insurance quotes. It’s important to check out how credible/legitimate any broker, advisor or insurer is before agreeing to take out a policy with them.

Credentials can be checked via the Financial Services Authority (FSA). Regularly reviewing your policy is important to make sure you are not underinsured or overpaying. Life insurance has fallen over the past years.

Those with an old policy should now be reviewing it and looking for newer deals. Do not suppose that the amount you have paid out covers all costs in the event of death – there could be clauses in small print, which say otherwise.
Premiums differ depending on who you are and what you do. You could save great sums of money if you are a non-smoker.
