In the UK , consumers spend billions of pounds on insurance products every year. The insurance market is now a huge industry with yearly premiums adding up to £41 billion for life insurance, £10.3 billion for car insurance and £8.5 billion for home insurance. Many consumers are confused about which is the right policy for them and often purchase products that don't met their exact needs, just because they do not want to run the risk of being unprotected.
One area which presents a lot of confusion is life insurance. Most people in the UK do have some form of life insurance policy; however they are often not the right ones. Cheap life insurance is often sold to younger consumers is they represent a good deal due to their age. However it is not often needed unless the individual has children.
Consumers should seek the appropriate advice when considering what insurance plan is right for them, in order that they can make informed decisions. Whilst many insurance policies are very worthwhile, not everybody needs to be insurance for everything.
