The AA Home Insurance, has found that almost a third 29% of people who are looking to buy a house admit that they found the process very difficult.
A survey by the insurance company revealed that 11% of house-hunters experience fears over hidden faults at a property, whilst 7% do not trust their estate agent.
Fuelling more worries, 13% of people claimed that their last home did not provide them with everything that they required or expected.
In an attempt to help people, AA Home Insurance and televisions House Doctor Ann Maurice, have published a new guide called ‘Getting a Better Deal on Your Home’, in the hope to help and advise people through the house hunting process.
AA Home Insurance head Janet Pell said: “For most people, buying a home will be the most important purchase they make in their lifetime, so it’s really important to get it right and make sure you have no regrets once the contract is signed.&ldquo
