A new overseas home insurance service has been launched by UK price comparison service, Confused.com.
Customers can insure their holiday homes, through Hiscox Insurance, without the stress of foreign insurance brokers and unfamiliar legal systems.
Since the entire service is written in English and easy to understand customers can also bid farewell to translating policy documents from foreign languages or facing hidden costs.
People can obtain competitive insurance quote for their overseas property by clicking and shopping online, through a UK insurer, a statement said.
Chief executive officer of Confused.com, Carlton Hood, said his firm was committed to providing a first class service and the addition of the overseas home insurance facility would strengthen their position as the only aggregator to offer the kind of service.
“Our overseas insurance service will allow our home insurance customers to insure their holiday homes abroad, without the worry of language barrier or alien property laws which can make maintaining a property in the sun extremely stressful,” he added.
