Health Insurance - Edward Jones: Prepare for care, long-term - 13/11/2007

Making preparations for deteriorating health earlier in life has been strongly advised by investment firm Edward Jones.

Financially securing yourself in later years could also be marked by the taking out of a life insurance policy - with many specific life insurance services recently launched for the 50-and-over market.

Critical illness life insurance services can also help purchasers out if they become seriously sick with diseases such as Alzheimer's and cancer.

Provisions for long-term care have been made the subject of a seminar from Edward Jones, to take place next Wednesday.

Transferring capital and property to relatives in order to qualify for government assistance is just one of the life insurance alternatives to be discussed at the conference, which will be held at the Darnford Moors Golf Club in Lichfield.

A starting time of 12.30pm has been set by the firm.
