The debt crisis has officially reached boiling point with the news that a quarter of UK adults are in a worse position financially than three months ago.
Moneyexpert.com has shown that those who suffer from debt have increased from the point of August till the present day. A fraction of this amount have seen their debt rise by a massive 20 per cent over this period, while 17 per cent have managed to cut their debt levels.
Overall 30 per cent of UK residents have admitted to being either concerned about their future financial prospects and their rising debt.
Sean Gardner, director of MoneyExpert.com, said: "Nothing's so stark as a reminder that many of us are struggling to repay the money we owe."
