Debt problems are beginning to increasingly worry Brits according to a new recent survey. The figures taken from MoneyExpert have revealed that 38% of Brits are constantly in a state of panic with regards to paying their debts, most probably from credit cards and loans in the last three months.
This latest figure illustrates an increase of about 5% which is up from the previous quarter as depicted in the poll. The director of MoneyExpert Sean Gardner: said “Many people are not in severe trouble but are becoming increasingly worried nonetheless. There are many ways to get your finances under control, from debt consolidation to just juggling your borrowing onto cheaper products.”
He further commented by saying “Those who are concerned about making repayments over the coming months should take action now.” Howard Archer: Chief European and UK economist for Global Insight, speculated recently that interest rates may decrease further to the four percent mark next year, however he also said that a decision to hold is the most decision for the Bank of England this month.
