What if someone steals my card?

If someone steals your card call the local authorities immediately and then your card issuer. Your card issuer will cancel it and you will be protected from the financial consequences of any spending done since your card was stolen. You may be required to pay the first £50, unless you’re in Europe at which point you’ll be charged nothing at all.

It is a good idea to keep the lost or stolen card number of your credit card company programmed into your phone. This way you can call them as soon as you notice the card missing.
