If an accident occurs and you need to make a claim you should contact your insurer as soon as possible. It is important to be honest with them about every detail and if they discover that you have breeched any of their terms they can and will refuse to cover you. Read your policy carefully to make sure you are in full compliance.

-You must stop if you have hit any person or animal and if any other person’s vehicle or property is damaged.
-You must get the addresses, telephone numbers and names of insurance providers from all other drivers involved in the accident. They are required by law to give this to you.
