RAC releases road safety DVD - 28/11/2007

The costs of managing a car accident have been publicised by rescue service the RAC through its release of a nine-minute DVD.
Aimed at fleet managers, the DVD mini-movie takes the viewer through every stage of a road accident - from crash to recovery to repairs to replacement.
Reducing road accidents through the DVD could, in turn, lead to a fall in car insurance premiums.
RAC director John Lawrence said: "Through the DVD and microsite we can clearly articulate to new and existing customers how RAC Services operates.
"Accident management can be an area of uncertainty for fleet managers - however, with the use of both the DVD and microsite, we are certain that the benefits and expertise of RAC Services will be brought to life."
Additionally, a microsite, which can be found at racaccidentservices.co.uk, has been developed and opened by the RAC to complement the new DVD.
Presentation packs and fact sheets for fleet managers are also contained within the site.
