Car insurance claims are getting more unusual by the day, it seems.
The latest strange claim on a person's car insurance came from Baronet Sir Benjamin Slade, who wrote out a form claiming as much as £4,000 in damage caused by a peacock.
According to Sir Benjamin, the peacock took a shine to an employee's blue car and began to "sexually attack" the vehicle.
"He attacked the panels so hard that the car needs a total respray," the Baronet explained.
But it seems that this is not the only unusual car insurance claim that insurer Norwich Union has received.
Animals are often involved in the more obscure car insurance claims and Norwich Union has listed some of its best examples, which include a frozen squirrel crashing through the windscreen; a reindeer falling from above when the car was stationary; and a herd of cows licking off the vehicle's paint.
