If you cause an accident without any bike insurance than you could be held responsible for the financial costs of any injuries you cause, any care those injuries require and any damage you cause to other people’s property. These costs are almost disastrously high and impossible to recover from.

Even if you haven’t been in an accident you will be prosecuted by the government for driving without insurance.
