According to research from the Post Office, motorcycle traffic has increased by almost 40% over the last 10 years, with 1.2 million licensed motorcyclists currently on UK roads.

To alleviate the traffic problem, the Post Office is offering motorcycle insurance with added on benefits, including the option to insure up to four bikes on the same policy and up to £500 cover for accessories per bike.

Many motorcyclists own more than one motorbike or scooter and by providing an option to insure up to four bikes on one policy, this scheme makes life a lot easier for them. For a limited time it is also offering new customers one month’s free cover. In addition, female riders can claim a discount of up to 36% on top of any other discounts that are applicable.

This follows the successful launch of Post Office car and van insurance, which have established it as the UK’s fastest growing motor insurer. Currently one in every 50 cars in the UK is insured with the Post Office.
