Motorbike racers can earn money via a 'Grass Roots' scheme organised by a leading bike insurance provider.
Bennetts insurance company is offering individual URL addresses to riders who register their interest in the scheme. URLs are given and racers can download banners to their own website and rider profiles on the Bennetts website.
A commission is paid for each Bennetts insurance policy that is bought through the riders website. There is no upper limit in place on commission amounts.
Additionally £5 for each policy will be donated to the CJ Riders Fund which supplies medical equipment at races.
Mark Fells, marketing director at Bennetts, said: “We are really proud of the Grass Roots initiative and feel confident that it will prove successful with riders of all levels.
“ For example, if you're starting out and you've got a few mates who can take up or renew their insurance through Bennetts via your website, then the commission you earn could pay for a new set of tyres.”
